About the event
Ethical challenges in play therapy are often subtle, nuanced, and deeply contextual. This interactive series offers focused, digestible sessions designed to help play therapists sharpen their ethical decision-making in everyday clinical practice. Each session blends real-world scenarios, experiential reflection, and practical strategies rooted in the ACA Code of Ethics, APT Best Practices, and developmentally sensitive clinical judgment. Led by Dr. Krystyne Mendoza, PhD, LPC, NCC, RPT-S™, this series provides a supportive space to explore common dilemmas related to confidentiality, documentation, limits of competence, cultural responsiveness, mandated reporting, and navigating complex caregiver dynamics. Participants will walk away with increased confidence, clearer frameworks, and practical tools for ethical play therapy practice—no matter the setting.
